Love from Gippsland Campers to Kenyan School Kids

Around the campfire, sewing ladies in Gippsland have been making borrowing bags for children at Mercy Primary School in Kenya. These bags are pretty special, individually crafted with love and can be worn as a backpack to protect the books they borrow from the library. In 2019 many Gippsland schools and community supporters sent a shipping container full of 13,500 books to Kenya. The container was left on site to be used as the library. It is a great asset to the school.

Thanks to Lorraine and her team for their love for the kids in Kenya and looking for

opportunity to help others less fortunate than themselves. We can all share something of our LIFE with others: Our Labour, Influence, Finance or Expertise.
